Skills are more interesting than possessions. West Michigan. All content by me unless otherwise noted.
Muskegon Lake is still frozen and Lake Michigan has a decent (albeit shrinking) amount of ice along the shoreline. 3/26/19

Some of my original content that has been flagged as SENSITIVE.
Reblog if 12/17 probably won’t do anything to your posts but you wish it were that way for everyone else. :(
Saw an obit in the paper for a familiar name. Reading the article, she was the parent of my friend Doug, from [the town where Doug lives], so I attended the visitation tonight. After not recognizing anyone, I asked a guy sitting on a green couch if Doug was around. The person asked me, “Why, are you here to serve him?” (I came straight from work). I laughed and said “No, I’m just looking for my friend.” Doug was then pointed out to me, at which point I realized I was in an alternate dimension where someone with the same name as my friend had a parent die. I offered my condolences and left. At least my heart was in the right place. I may call non-bizzaro Doug and let him know I missed him tonight and that (hopefully) his mom is still alive.

Some highlights from a recent trip to Lake Tahoe.

Muskegon to Lansing this morning, with downtown Grand Rapids and the Grand River.
